Wash, stalk and stone the cherries. Put them in a large pot with sugar. Heat over medium heat while stirring for 10-15 minutes until the sugar has melted and cherry juice has formed.
Then boil down syrupy for 10-12 minutes while stirring constantly.
Stir in lime juice, liqueur and aromas. Simmer again for another 10 minutes. Pour the cherries and syrup into prepared twist-off glasses and close them immediately. Store in a cool and dark place. Shelf life 3-4 months.
