  • 1 pack of (6 pieces) Baguette roll for ready baking
  • 100 g medieval Gouda cheese
  • 50 g Roasted onions
  • 100 g Mushrooms
  • 4 discs Pineapple (canned)
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 jar(s) (314 ml; draw-off weight: 175 g) Mandarin Oranges
  • 2 cubes (20 g each) Roasted onion butter
  • 6 leaves Lettuce
  • 6 discs smoked turkey breast (à approx. 30 g)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Tomato and parsley

    Cut the baguette roll horizontally once. Sprinkle cheese and half of the fried onions on the curved side. Bake all baguette halves in the preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10-15 minutes. In the meantime clean, wash and slice the mushrooms. Cut pineapple into pieces. Fry both in hot fat while turning them golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.

    Drain the mandarins. Wash the salad leaves. Remove baguette halves from the oven and spread roasted onion butter on the cut surfaces. Cover the lower halves with lettuce leaves, turkey breast cold cuts, mushrooms, pineapple mandarins and the remaining roasted onions. Place the upper halves on top. Serve garnished with tomato and parsley
