Peel the onions. Clean and wash the peppers. Cut onions, paprika, gherkins, cheese and sausage into strips. Wash chives, dab dry and cut into rings. Put everything in a bowl. Mix vinegar and mustard, season with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar.
Fold in the oil. Pour over the salad and leave to marinate for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. In the meantime cut the pretzel into cubes. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a coated pan. Fry the pretzel cubes for about 4 minutes until golden brown all around. Mix the pretzel cubes with the salad and serve
