Rinse and drain the beans. Peel garlic and cut into thin slices. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan, fry the garlic in it until golden brown and remove. Wash the basil, shake dry, remove the leaves and cut into strips.
Coarsely puree the beans and 4 tablespoons of oil with a hand blender. Stir in basil and garlic together with the oil. If the hummus is too firm, stir in some water. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Drizzle with the remaining oil.
