Cut bread into 16 slices. Cut cheese into thin slices. Wash, quarter, core and cut pears into thin slices.
Whisk the eggs in a deep plate, season with salt and pepper. Heat butter in a large pan. Turn slices of bread first in milk, then in eggs. Fry the slices in the pan for 2-3 minutes on each side in portions and take them out.
Spread 8 slices with cranberries. Top with pears and cheese. Put the remaining slices of bread on top. Wash the chives, cut them into small rolls and sprinkle them on top.
