Ingredients

  • 100 g Gruyère cheese
  • 100 g medieval Gouda cheese
  • 4 Eggs
  • 50 g Butter or margarine
  • 70 g Flour
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 7-10 Tbsp small salad decoration

Directions

    Grate cheese finely. Separate eggs. Melt fat and sweat flour in it. Add milk slowly and heat while stirring. Gradually stir the egg yolks into the mixture. Then stir in the cheese.

    Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold into the mixture. Pour into greased, higher, small casseroles (approx. 150 ml capacity). Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 25 minutes.

    Cover up in between if necessary. Serve immediately garnished with a small salad decoration. Collapses very quickly!
