Ingredients

  • 75 g mixed walnuts
  • 160 g Flour
  • 6 Eggs
  • 150 grSugar
  • 1 Tl. lemon peel
  • 500 ml. Milk
  • 60 g Cornstarch
  • 4 Egg Yolk
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 6 cl. Whisky
  • 125 ml. Whiskey cream liqueur
  • 300 g Butter
  • 50 g Icing sugar
  • 50 g flaked almonds
  • 1 Teel. Powdered coffee
  • 2 Teel. Cocoa

Directions

    whisk egg white with sugar, 2 tbsp. water, + a pinch of salt to snow.stir in egg yolk and lemon peel.fold in flour and walnuts.place dough into a 28 cm tin and bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

    One twenty-five cc's. Mix milk with starch and egg yolk, bring the rest of the milk and sugar to the boil, stir in the starch milk and boil for 2 minutes. Let it cool down, cut the sponge cake 2 times, mix whiky and liqueur and sprinkle the cake with a quarter of the mixture.

    Gradually stir the butter into the cream, add the rest of the liqueur mixture, mix the layers with two thirds of the cream and spread the cake with the rest of the cream.

    Melt the icing sugar to caramel and add the almonds ,pour it on an oiled baking tray and crush it with the rolling pin.sprinkle it on the cake.mix coffee and cocoa and pour it over the cake with a sieve.decorate it with the baptism symbol.
