Peel and finely chop the onion. Chop olives coarsely. Drain tomatoes and cut into strips. Cut mortadella into strips. Grate parmesan. Cook the pasta in 3-4 l boiling salted water (approx. 1 teaspoon salt per litre) according to package instructions
In the meantime heat oil in a pan. Fry the onion in it. Fry the mortadella, olives and tomatoes briefly. Deglaze with wine and cream. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir in parmesan, except for 1 tbsp. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring several times. Season to taste with salt and pepper
Wash the basil and cut into strips. Drain the pasta, drain and mix with the sauce. Serve, sprinkle with the rest of parmesan and garnish with the rest of the basil
