Drain the beetroot. Peel and quarter the onion and cut into fine strips. Cut cucumber into slices. Wash and quarter apples, cut out core. Cut flesh into small pieces and sprinkle with lemon juice. Wash maties, dab dry, also cut into pieces. For the sauce, wash and chop the dill.
Mix mayonnaise, mustard, cucumber water and dill. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix prepared ingredients and sauce carefully. Season if necessary. Serve garnished with lemon and apple slices. Black bread tastes good with it
