Kasselerbraten on colourful paprika vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Kasselerkotelettbraten
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 500 g baby potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Pot of thyme
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 red, yellow and green peppers
  • 1/4 l Vegetable broth

Directions

    Wash the roast and pat dry. Coat with oil and season with pepper. Place in a large roasting pan. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 1 hour. Turn several times.

    In the meantime, peel and wash the potatoes. Pre-cook in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes, then drain. Wash and chop the thyme. Peel and quarter onions. Clean, wash and chop the peppers. Add the bell peppers and onions to the roaster 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Season with salt and pepper. After 10 minutes add potatoes and thyme. Deglaze with broth.
