Clean the mushrooms, possibly wash and halve them. Peel and finely chop the onions. Cut sausages into thick slices.
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the sausage for about 5 minutes while turning. Add mushrooms and diced onion and continue to fry for approx. 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
In the meantime dice the cucumbers. Stir cream cheese and 100 ml water into the pan, bring to the boil. Fold in cucumber cubes and season to taste. Serve with cranberries. Serve with bread or spaetzle.
