Ingredients

  • 1 kg Plums
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 1 package Sauce powder "Vanilla flavor
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 6 Eggs (size M)
  • 200 g Butter or margarine
  • 250 g Flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Baking Powder
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Rum
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour

Directions

    Wash, clean and halve the plums and remove stones. For the icing, stir cream, sauce powder and 50 g sugar until smooth. Stir in 2 eggs. For the dough, whip the fat and 200 g sugar until creamy with the whisk of the hand mixer.

    Add 4 eggs one after the other and stir in. Mix flour and baking powder. Stir the flour mixture into the egg-fat mixture by the spoonful. Stir in rum.

    Pour the dough into a greased and flour-spread springform pan (26 cm Ø). Spread the plums evenly on the dough and press them in slightly. Spread the icing over them. In a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see

    Take out the cake, let it cool down on a cake rack. Remove from the mould and cut into pieces. Dust with icing sugar and cut into pieces. Whipped cream tastes good with it.
