Cream the fat, icing sugar and the scraped out pulp of the pod. Mix cornstarch and flour and stir in.
Shape the dough into uniform balls (approx. 10g). Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and press them with a floured fork to form squares (or use a template to press on a pattern).
Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for about 12-15 minutes.
