Bring 4-5 l salt water (1 teaspoon salt per litre) to the boil. Peel and finely dice onions. Peel and chop garlic. Wash the chillies. Heat the oil in a large pot. Brown onions, garlic and chillies in it.
Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar and caramelize. Deglaze with vinegar. Add the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Wash parsley, shake dry and chop coarsely. Rinse anchovies, dab dry, cut in half lengthwise and add to the sauce with the parsley. Stir in vodka shortly before the end of the cooking time. Drain noodles and mix with the tomato sauce, serve. Grated Parmesan cheese tastes good with it.
