Peel the onions, one into large cubes, the others into rings. Clean, wash and cut the savoy cabbage into strips. Peel and finely dice the garlic. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan with a high rim.
Fry the onion, garlic and chilli powder in it. Add the savoy cabbage and fry briefly. Deglaze with stock, bring to the boil and stir in tomato paste. Cover and braise over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
In the meantime dab chops dry. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan and fry the chops on both sides over a high heat for 6-8 minutes. Season with pepper and keep warm.
Turn the onion rings in flour and fry them in the frying fat until golden brown. Season the savoy cabbage with salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar. Arrange the savoy cabbage and smoked pork on plates and garnish with parsley. Ciabatta bread tastes good with it.
