Ingredients

  • 350 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 1 TEASPOON Cornstarch
  • 1 TEASPOON demerara sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Soy sauce
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 collar Spring onions
  • 1 piece (à ca. 2 cm) fresh ginger
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Tomato ketchup
  • 1 TEASPOON Sambal Oelek
  • 1 TABLESPOON liquid honey
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Fruit vinegar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sesame seed
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sesame Oil
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 5 Stem/s Coriander

Directions

    Wash the meat, dab dry and dice coarsely. Add starch, sugar and soy sauce and mix well. Clean, wash and chop the peppers. Clean, wash and cut spring onions into rings. Peel ginger and garlic and chop finely. Mix ketchup, 5 tablespoons of water, sambal oelek, honey, vinegar and sesame oil.

    Roast sesame seeds in a hot pan without fat, remove. Heat the oil in the pan. Brown the meat in it and take it out. Sauté the vegetables, except for the green of the spring onions, ginger and garlic in the frying fat while turning. Deglaze with the ketchup sauce, add the meat, bring to the boil and braise for approx. 4 minutes in the closed pan.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper. Wash coriander, shake dry, chop leaves coarsely. Sprinkle with sesame, coriander and spring onion green. Serve with rice.
