Grease a fat pan (32 x 39 cm; at least 3.5 cm deep) and dust with flour. Drain the cherries. Put 300 g flour, 200 g sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 1 egg yolk and 200 g butter in flakes in a bowl.
Knead everything first with the hand mixer and then briefly with your hands to form crumbles.
Mix 400 g flour, almonds, baking powder, 150 g sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Add quark, 125 g butter in flakes, 2 eggs and 1 tablespoon of water. Knead everything first with a hand mixer and then briefly with your hands until smooth.
Dust the quark dough with some flour and roll it out on the fat pan. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs, spread with jam and spread cherries on top. Sprinkle with crumble dough and grate the dough between your fingers.
Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: level 2) for approx. 40 minutes. Let them cool down.
