Wash, clean and cut the tomatoes into eighths. Peel and halve onions and cut them into fine rings. Season vinegar with salt, pepper and sugar. Beat olive oil into it. Wash the basil, pluck the leaves from the stalks and chop.

Put 4 turkey cubes and 3 plums alternately on 1 skewer each. Pluck the thyme leaves from the stalks. Season the skewers with thyme leaves, salt and pepper. Brush with oil. Cover the grill with aluminium foil and grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning them over. Serve the salad with the skewers.
