Vanilla ribbon noodles with marinated strawberries and melon balls

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 3/4 l Milk
  • 400 g ribbon noodles
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 500 g Strawberries
  • 1/2 (approx. 350 g) Charentais melon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 orange
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Maple syrup
  • 7-10 Tbsp Orange slices and lemon balm

Directions

    Boil up the milk. Add the noodles. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Add vanilla pulp to the milk. Cook everything on low heat for about 15 minutes.

    Stir from time to time. Wash, clean and halve the strawberries. Remove melon seeds. Cut out balls from the flesh with a ball cutter. Mix orange juice and syrup and pour over strawberries and melon balls, let it soak a little.

    Serve the pasta with the marinated fruit. Decorate with orange slices and lemon balm as desired.
