Peel and wash carrots and potatoes and cut them into cubes or slices. Clean the Chinese cabbage, cut into strips and put on a sieve. Wash briefly in cold water and drain. Peel and chop the onion. Cut the smoked pork also into cubes. Heat the oil in a pot and fry the onions. Add carrots, potatoes and Chinese cabbage and braise briefly. Add the diced Kasseler, stock and caraway seeds. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes. In the meantime wash and chop the parsley. Season stew with salt and pepper and serve sprinkled with parsley
