Wash and clean the beans and cut them into pieces of about 3 cm. Cover and cook in a little salt water for 8-10 minutes. Drain.
Dab steaks dry and cut them across the fibre into 1/2-1 cm thick strips. Peel onions and garlic. Dice onions finely, chop garlic very finely.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large frying pan. Stir-fry the meat in it over a high heat for about 1 minute. Take out.
Add 1 tablespoon of oil, heat up. Brown the onions and garlic in it. Add the beans and fry them for about 1 minute (the beans should remain nice and crisp).
Add the steak strips, black bean sauce, soy sauce, 1-2 tbsp water, salt, pepper and approx. 1 tsp sugar. Stir-fry everything for about 1 minute. Jasmine rice tastes good with it.
