Ingredients

  • 750 g Blackberries
  • 1 kg Apples
  • 30 g Pectin (organic trade)
  • 400 g Cane sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON Cinnamon

Directions

    Wash 750 g blackberries. Peel, quarter, core and chop about 1 kg apples. Weigh 750 g fruit flesh. Mix 30 g pectin (organic trade) and 400 g cane sugar. Put blackberries, apples, sugar mixture and approx. 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a pot and bring to the boil while stirring occasionally.

    Simmer for about 5 minutes. Puree coarsely with a hand blender. Pour hot spread into prepared twist-off glasses. Close immediately and let it cool down.
