Onions peel and roughly chop. Peel garlic and chop coarsely. Wash thyme, shake dry and pluck leaves from the stalks, except for a little to garnish. Clean and wash the peppers. Wash and clean the zucchini and tomatoes. Roughly dice or slice the prepared vegetables
Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan. Fry the onions, garlic and thyme for about 10 minutes. After approx. 2 minutes add paprika cubes. After another 3 minutes add zucchini. Add tomatoes and tomato paste and sauté for about 2 minutes while turning. Add 150 ml of water, bring to the boil, cover and boil down for about 5 minutes until the desired consistency is achieved
Wash the meat, dab dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan. Fry the meat for approx. 8 minutes, turning it over. Season ratatouille with sugar, salt and pepper. Arrange ratatouille and chicken, garnish with thyme
