Clear onion soup

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 250 g Onion
  • 20 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 ml White wine
  • 3/4 l Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 1 TEASPOON Caraway seeds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 1 collar Parsley
  • 100 g medieval Gouda cheese

Directions

    Peel onions and cut them into rings. Heat the fat in a pot and fry the onions in it until transparent. Deglaze with wine and stock, add caraway and cook for about 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Wash parsley, chop finely and add. Grate cheese finely and sprinkle over hot soup before serving.
