Wash and stone the cherries. Cream butter and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer. Add 75 g Amaretti, salt and 1 packet of vanilla sugar. Stir in the eggs one by one. Mix flour and baking powder, stir in briefly.
Spread the dough on a greased baking tray (39 x 32 cm). Spread cherries, almonds and 75 g Amaretti on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 45-50 minutes. Then let it cool down and cut into pieces. Serve with whipped cream
