Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water for about 1 minute. Then drain well.
Wash the asparagus, cut the woody ends off generously. Cut thick asparagus spears in half lengthwise. Cut the asparagus into large pieces. Peel and chop the onion. Wash the sage and shake dry. If necessary, cut the leaves smaller.
Roast sesame seeds in a large pan without fat. Remove. Heat oil and butter in the pan. Fry the asparagus for about 5 minutes at medium heat, turning them over.
Add onion, gnocchi, parmesan and sage and fry for 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Mix with sesame seeds.
