Wash and clean the gooseberries. Mix with 2 tablespoons of sugar and distribute in a greased pie dish (approx. 26 cm Ø). Pre-bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for about 10 minutes.
For the crumbles, melt butter and let it cool down for about 5 minutes. Coarsely chop whole almonds. Mix flour, ground almonds, 100 g sugar, vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt in a bowl. Add butter.
First work into crumbles with the dough hooks of the hand mixer, then with your hands. Knead in chopped almonds.
Take the gooseberries out of the oven and spread the almond crumbles on top. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar and add more at the same temperature.
Bake for about 20 minutes. Whipped cream tastes good with it. Drink tip: Coffee with milk.
