Wash the asparagus, cut off the woody ends. Cook the asparagus in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Grate cheese roughly. Put asparagus on a greased baking tray, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with cheese.
Spread butter in flakes on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes.
