Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Bag (1 kg) of cleaned kale
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper
  • 1 large bunch of soup greens (possibly with parsley root)
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 300 g lean smoked streaky bacon
  • 3 TABLESPOONS clear broth (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp medium hot mustard

Directions

    Sort the kale, wash thoroughly. Blanch in boiling salted water in portions for 2-3 minutes. Drain, chop coarsely

    Soup greens and potatoes clean or peel, wash and cut into pieces. Cut bacon into thick slices

    Fry the slices of bacon in a pan without fat until crispy and remove. Fry the soup greens and potatoes briefly in the bacon fat. Add kale and bacon, add 1 1/2 l water. Bring to the boil and stir in the stock. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour. Season to taste with salt, pepper and mustard
