Ingredients

Servings: 20
  • 1 pck. (250 g each) Filo or yufka dough (10 sheets; refrigerated shelf; e.g. from Aunt Fanny)
  • 150 g (piece) Gouda
  • 1 Avocado
  • 100 g Double cream cheese
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 10 Disc/s (thin) Cooked ham (approx. 150 g)
  • 10 TABLESPOONS Oil

Directions

  1. 1

Let the dough sheets rest in the pack at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, grate Gouda coarsely for the cheese-ham filling. For the avocado filling, cut the avocado in half, remove the core and remove the flesh from the skin. Puree cream cheese, avocado and lemon juice with a hand blender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

Spread a slightly moistened kitchen towel on a work surface, place a dry cloth on top. Unroll the dough sheets, cut them in half crosswise and lay them on the prepared cloths. Cover with a kitchen towel.

  3. 3

Cover half of the pastry sheets with ham one after the other and sprinkle with Gouda. Spread the other half of the pastry sheets with avocado cream, leaving about 4 cm free all around. Whip the edges of the short sides over the filling and roll up the pastry pieces tightly from one long side.

  4. 4

Gradually heat the oil in a large pan and fry the rolls in it in portions for about 4 minutes. Arrange the peace pipes. Taste hot and cold.
