Prawns with Feta (Shrimps Saganaki)

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 1 kg Frozen raw shrimps (without head, shell and gut)
  • 6 Tomatoes
  • 1 collar Parsley
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Spring onion
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 100 ml Ouzo
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 200 g Feta cheese

    Defrost the prawns. Wash, clean, quarter and seed the tomatoes. Cut the flesh into small cubes. Wash parsley, shake dry. Remove the leaves and chop finely. Peel onions and garlic, dice finely. Clean and wash the spring onion, first cut into rings, then chop finely

    Wash the shrimps and pat them dry. Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the prawns in it in portions for 3-4 minutes, turning them over. Add the remaining prepared ingredients, ouzo and finished prawns and continue steaming for 1-2 minutes. Season prawns with salt and pepper and place in a large casserole dish. Crumble cheese over it and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 4) for 10-15 minutes until brown. Bread tastes good with it
