Straw potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes (about 160 g each)
  • 1 kg Frying fat
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 7-10 Tbsp Tomatoes and chives

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into very fine strips. Dab potato strips dry with a clean cloth

    Heat the fat and deep-fry the potato strips in it in portions for approx. 4 minutes. Take out the "straw" and drain well on kitchen paper

  3. 3

    Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Arrange on plates and garnish with tomatoes and chives
