Drain the pears. Toast bread in the toaster until golden brown. Spread with fat. Cover each slice of bread with 1 slice of ham. Cut pears into slices and spread on the bread.
Pluck the gorgonzola into pieces and sprinkle on top. Place the toast on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 5-8 minutes until the cheese has melted.
Sprinkle with pink berries and garnish with marjoram.
