Peel, wash and chop the turnip. Potatoes peel, wash, also dice large. Leek onions clean, wash and cut into pieces. Wash and chop thyme. Peel and finely dice the onion. Carve the chili lengthwise, remove seeds and chop finely.
Heat the fat. Fry onion, chilli and thyme in it. Deglaze with 1.5 litres of salt water. Cook the prepared vegetables for 25 minutes. Season with stock, salt, sugar and vinegar
