Unroll a pizza dough on a large board. Spread half of one long side with about 40 g pesto. Fold over the other half of the long side. Cut into approx. 15 strips (approx. 2.5 cm each). Process the second pizza dough in the same way.
Line two baking trays with baking paper. Preheat oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/circulating air: 200 °C/gas: see manufacturer). Fold 1 slice of ham lengthwise and place on 1 pastry strip. Turn the strips into a cord, pulling them to a length of approx. 26 cm.
Press the dough ends together.
Place the rods on the plates. Bake in a hot oven for about 10 minutes one after the other until golden brown.
