Plaice rolls with basil sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow pepper (approx. 200 g)
  • 1/2 bunch (approx. 100 g) Spring onions
  • 2-3 Branches of basil
  • 6 Plaice fillets (approx. 50 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Preparation of cream cheese with herbs from Provence
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 1 glass (400 ml) Basilico sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp wooden skewers

Directions

    Wash and clean the peppers and cut them into large cubes. Leek onions clean, wash and cut into diagonal pieces. Wash basil, dab dry and remove leaves. Wash the plaice fillets and dab dry. Season with salt and pepper.

    Spread with cream cheese, basil leaves, except for a few for garnishing, place on top and roll up. Pin them with wooden skewers. Heat oil in a pan. Braise the peppers in it at medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add spring onions, braise briefly and deglaze with basil sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Place the plaice rolls on top. Cover and let simmer for about 6 minutes at low heat. Remove the wooden skewers. Arrange the plaice rolls with the basil sauce on a plate.
