Chop the walnuts and roast them in a pan without fat. Remove and chop roughly. Peel and halve the pear half, remove the core. Cut the flesh into small cubes. Wash thyme and dab dry.
From the thyme, except for something to garnish, pluck off leaves. Mix cream cheese, pear, thyme and honey, season with salt and pepper. Arrange on bread and garnish with thyme.
